Today, I realized that my shy and dorky self would never have had the courage talk to the love of my life if it hadn’t have been for our mutual love of Avatar: The Last Airbender. Though he supports Kataang, and I Zutara, I knew from our first words (“You like Avatar too??” “Um.. Yeah. Who are you?”) that we are meant to be. MLIATLA.

Hey, anon… What do you mean? Like, crossover with another title?
If so, I’m a musical fanatic. The Phantom of the Opera relates so well to ATLA.Unfortunately it only really works out well for Zutarians. Zuko would probably be the phantom, because they both have facial deformities and have a dark past involving being disowned by their parents. Katara would be Christine, because she’s the protagonist female, and has the romantic challenges in the series. Aang would be like Raoul, because he is Katara’s current partner and a man of great renown and respect, and at the end of both the play and the series Raoul and Christine end up together and so do Katara and Aang.
*SPOILERS*
This crossover scares me, because in the sequel to The Phantom of the Opera called ‘Love Never Dies’ (I think you can only see it in London), Raoul and Christine have a son (Tenzin?). At the end of the play we find out that the phantom is actually the father of Christine’s son and she has loved him all along, even though she married Raoul. WTF. Oh, and then Christine’s BFF Meg shoots and kills her, nbd.
Gosh I hope that this analogy ISN’T canon in LoK! (Especially cause Tenzin is an airbender, and Zuko prolly can’t conceive one…)
If you have no idea what I’m talking about, see the movie or the show. You won’t regret it. Let’s hope LoK won’t be as disappointing as ‘Love Never Dies’!
